Dear friends,
My name is Reuben Eyiram Tott, and I am reaching out to you from Accra, Ghana, with a heavy heart. My beloved son, Manasseh Eyiram Kwaku Tott, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January 2024. This news shattered our world, and the journey since has been incredibly challenging.
After undergoing MRI and CT scans, we learned the heartbreaking truth: Manasseh needs two surgeries to combat this illness. The first procedure, a shunt, has already been completed, but the second surgery must take place abroad due to the complexity of his condition. The doctors here have expressed their concern, stating that they wouldn’t be comfortable proceeding with the operation owing to its intricate nature. The only recommendation is to fly him to India, and that will cost about 172000 cedis.
I am a bricklayer, struggling to survive with my wife and two children. Manasseh is my first child, while the second is just a few months old. So far, our family has spent nearly 70,000 Ghana cedis on medical care, but we cannot bear this burden alone. I humbly ask for your support to help us raise the necessary funds for Manasseh’s life-saving surgery.
As a father, nothing is more painful than watching your child suffer. Manasseh is a bright, loving boy who deserves a chance at life. Your generosity can make a difference in his future. Please help us save his life, and you will have our undying gratitude.
Please consider donating and sharing our story. Together, we can bring hope to our family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you from the depths of my heart for your kindness and support.
With gratitude,
Reuben Eyiram Tott
